Fashion starts oh-so simply with an idea.

This family owned line found its roots in Newport Beach, California and remains there today. The Boardshort Breakdown. Billabong’s Style

Hey guys and gals, Spring is just around the corner, with Summer close behind. That means sunshine, warm weather, and most fun of all, water activities! Whether you live on a sandy beach, have a boat docked on your nearest local lake, or get your recreational water sport kicks on the mighty Mississippi river, a man’s best friend in the water is a pair of great performance boardshorts!

It’s quite evident that Billabong shares our love of the water as shown by their super cool “Life is Better in Boardshorts,” 2012 campaign!

Billabong’s humble beginning started when Gordon Merchant began producing handmade boardshorts with his wife Rena in 1973 from their house in Burleigh Point, Australia. Famous is coming out with new product called Famous x Rebel 8.  The hat can be seen on Lil Wayne in DJ Khaled’s new music video.

This new product has a story.  Famous x Rebel 8 is a collaboration of Famous by Travis Barker and Rebel 8 by Mike Giant.  Mike Giant is an artist.  He works with tattoos and graffiti, but mainly the Rebel 8 Sharpie marker. As you can tell, the Rebel 8 on the hat is written as if it was written by the Rebel 8 Sharpie marker.  You can learn more about Mike Giant in the video in the link below.
